Triangle Triathlon Club are once again bringing the Spar Causeway Coast Triathlon to Portrush, Co. Antrim. The Olympic distance event will be on Sunday 19th June 2011.

The Spar Causeway Coast Triathlon was on 13th June 2010 at Water Sports Centre, Portrush, Co. Antrim. The race was organised by Triangle Triathlon Club in conjunction with Coleraine Borough Council.
The swim starts in the crystal waters of the East Strand in Portrush and the bike and run course take in the rugged beauty of the Coast road with Dunluce Castle providing a stunning backdrop for those that want to take in the scenery. The run course itself will finish along the Whiterocks / East Strand Beach.
This is an Olympic Distance Triathlon consisting of
- 1.5km open-water swim
- 40km bike
- 10km run
The event capacity is 250 competitors.
