Half Ireman
Triangle Triathlon Club’s Half Ireman will be the final race in the 2011 Decathlon NI Tri Series. The longest race in the series, Ireman will be held in Groomsport, Co. Down on Sunday 21st August.

The Half Ireman was on Sunday 22nd August 2010 in Groomsport, Co. Down. The race was organised by Triangle Triathlon Club.
The original Ireman took place in 2000 with the Half Ireman introduced in 2007. The swim is in the waters at Benone Beach. The bike stage is a flat rural road course followed by a run covering a multitude of terrains including road, off-road, coastal and beach.
The Half Ireman / Ireman 226 consist of:
- 1.9km / 3.8km open-water swim
- 90km / 180km bike
- 21km / 42km run
