Top of the Mourne
Top of the Mourne will once again be the 4th race in the Decathlon NI Triathlon Series. The Olympic distance race is hosted by Newry Tri Club and will be held on 30th July 2011 in Kilbroney Park, Rostrevor, Co. Down.

The Top of the Mourne Triathlon took place on Sunday July 25th 2010. The race was organised by Newry Triathlon Club and had over 100 competitors.

Commencing and at the foot of the Mournes this triathlon pushed every competitor to their limit. The course boasts fantastic routes and testing trails as well as spectacular views. The race started with a swim in Carlingford Lough, followed by a cycle route across the Mournes Mountains up to the famous Spelga Dam before returning to Kilbroney Park to finish with a 10k run along the foot of the Mournes.
This is an Olympic Distance Triathlon consisting of:
- 1.5km open-water swim
- 40km bike
- 10km run
